In 2010, TOHO ZINC acquired CBH Resources Limited (“CBH”), which operated zinc and lead mines in Australia. For more than a decade since then, CBH has contributed significantly to the stable supplies of raw material for our smelting business. Since TOHO ZINC decided to withdraw from the mining business as its new management strategy in 2024, we had been progressively taking steps to exit from the projects CBH managed and operated over the period. TOHO ZINC completed full divestment of all mining assets held through CBH and exit from the mineral resources business with the transfer of our shares in the Abra Mining Pty Ltd in June 2025.
